Silver, which is a good light-reflector, is a ductile metal. It is possible to acquire 2-km-long thread from 1-gram-silver. It is crystallized cubical or hexagonal in the electronical system. When the coordination number is six, the atomic diameter is nearly 1,444 angstrom. Resisting to the oxidation in the atmosphere, silver is oxidized easier than gold, but harder than copper. The standard electrode potential of silver is 0,7978V. Though being resistant to the acids and some of the organic substances, silver is easily melted in nitric acid and hot concentrated sulphuric acid.
